The variation of colors on the new leaves can range from white to cream, from light to dark green, and from orange to fire red. It is a rather slow-growing philodendron but well worth the wait!

Philodendron Ring of Fire is one of our favorites. It’s got serrated, multi-color variegated leaves that give it a beautiful and unique appearance. We find it to be an easy grower. Like most Philodendrons, this variety prefers moist but well-draining soil and some humidity. As it climbs, it should be staked or allowed to climb up moss poles. In higher humidity environments, numerous aerial roots will form which gives the plants a beautiful look. Please note that due to the nature of variegation, each plant is a unique individual. There will be some variability from plant to plant and even from one leaf to another on the same plant. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee a specific amount of variegation especially younger plants.
This Philodendron has slender leaves that have serrated edges. Dappled with variegation, these plants have a knack for drawing attention. They’re typically on the slow growing side, but you’re going to want to watch every new leaf come out. Each new leaf makes a savory transition from red to green as it hardens, unveiling its variegation along the way.
